Frequently asked questions.
What is a smart home?
A home where lights, AC, curtains, cameras, the gate and other systems can be controlled from your phone, a wall panel or your voice, and can run by themselves on schedules and sensors.
Which app do you use?
The Smart Life app for the whole smart system.
Do Zigbee and WiFi switches differ?
Yes. Zigbee switches need no neutral wire and always work through a Zigbee hub. WiFi switches need a neutral wire and connect straight to your WiFi.
Am I locked in to Smart House?
No. We use an open, widely used platform, so you, our team or any other installer can easily add to or upgrade your system later.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Every switch still works by hand, and most automations on a Zigbee hub keep running locally, depending on the model.
Do I need to rewire my house?
No. Zigbee switches fit the same wall box as your old switch, with no new wiring.
Where do you install?
Installation projects are in Muscat Governorate and South Al Batinah.
Can I install the products myself?
Many products, such as smart plugs and sensors, are easy to set up yourself.
Do you deliver across Oman?
Yes. Products are delivered to every governorate.
How much does a smart home cost?
Our packages start from 899 OMR. Larger homes are custom based on requirements.
